As part of his remarks at Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta’s 7th International Conference, Senior Advisor to the UN General Director, Mr. Roland Schatz, expressed his pleasure to participate in the conference weeks before Egypt’s Climate Summit hosted in Sharm al-Sheikh under the auspices of H. E. President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
Mr. Schatz pointed out that the Qur’an describes how God created two of His most beautiful creations; Earth and human beings, and that it is unfortunate that the relationship between the two is far from good.
In that regard, he added, “We are in immense need to provide a broader space for brainstorming and creative discourse in order to fulfill the goals of sustainable development and to restore the connection between God, humanity, and the world”.
Beside his speech to 145 Grandmuftis in Cairo, Mr. Schatz presented the idea of the SDG Card, a payment solution for individuals and institutions.
A leadership style often described as visionary, innovative, and inspirational.
