The Executive Board
In order to maintain national security standards, with the participation of Gen. Wesley Clark (ret.) as well as international security experts such as Mr. Glenn Hill as well as the President of the Senate, Mr. Patrick Meyer, the UNASDG Senate unanimously decided to establish the UNASDG Security Council, effective November 24, 2021.
The UNASDG Security Council, in coordination with the UNASDG Senate and national and international institutions and agencies, contributes to the smooth implementation of the basic requirements for the establishment of security and security structures, in particular for the protection and security of people, lives and provided means and technologies for the realization of the projects and missions agreed with the partner State at the national and international levels.
It cooperates with national and international security agencies, banks, partners and institutions and ensures compliance with agreed processes and fulfillment of conventions and intergovernmental treaties with the aim of achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which were defined and adopted on September 25, 2015 by 193 Presidents of States at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.
With the support of international security experts from banking sector, security companies, politics and business, as well as the IT sector, the urban development security program called CITYGUARD was developed specifically for this purpose.
It includes comprehensive security protocols, operational guidelines, individual monitoring in the areas of planning and development, provision and use of funds, as well as targeted individual security measures, which are installed with the CITYGUARD program prior to the start of the implementation of various UN programs cities, municipalities or communities.
The goal is, to guide all stakeholders safely and successfully through the project to completion.
