About

Prof. Martin Nkafu Nkemnkia is an African philosopher and theologian with a very intensive academic career, 

Together with Prof. Nkafu Nkemnkia UNASDG will work on the implementation of the SDGs, especially in favor of the people and we will follow jointly the goals of the NCDEIF Foundation and of the UNASDG.

Professional Experience

He was graduated in philosophy (PhD) and in holy theology (PhD) at the Pontifical Lateran University (P.U.L.). Master in Electronics: Electronic Physicist, Technicien Electronicien in 1988 at the University of Liege, Belgium (CIFOR). Lecturer in the Faculty of Philosophy of the Pontifical Lateran University: African Thought and Religion; History of African Philosophy Former Director of the Department of Human and Social Sciences, International Research Area, Interdisciplinary Studies for the Development of African Culture (Pul Philosophy Faculty) Former Director of the Cardinal Bernardin Gantin Chair on Political Socialization in Africa of the Pontifical Lateran University (Faculty of Philosophy) (2013–2017) Member of the Center for Interreligious Dialogue—Focolare Movement, responsible for dialogue between Christianity and African Traditional Religion (ART); the Popular Religions of Asia (RPA); the Survey Religions of Oceania; and Latin America and Central America (RIA). Member of the Scientific Committee of the Review: New Humanity—Focolare Movement, Opera di Maria Positions held Participated in the Synod of Bishops of the Vatican City as Supervisor of Translators and Translations (1994–2010) Former Lecturer in the Interdisciplinary Center on Social Communication (Anthropology and Intercultural Communication) and in the Faculty of Missiology (Religions and Culture in Africa); Aspects of African Traditional Religion; The Synodal Tradition in the History of the Church; The Media at the Service of Evangelization; Ecclesia in Africa: challenges and prospects at the Pontifical Gregorian University Former Member of the Italian Ecclesial Committee for the Reduction of the External Debt of Poor Countries (Appointment of the Presidency of the Italian Episcopal Conference) Former Member (Catholic) of the Council for the Study of “Theological Anthropology—Faith and Order Commission of the WCC World Conference of Churches“.
