On November 8, Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee received Mr. Hans Joachim Radtke, Ambassador of the Intergovernmental Organization UnASDG to Viet Nam. The Chairman of the People's Committee of the provinces, Cao Tuong Huy, presented Mr. Hans Joachim Radtke, Ambassador of the intergovernmental organization UnASDG in Vietnam, with a symbolic gift from Ha Long Bay. The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Cao Tuong Huy, presented Hans Joachim Radtke, Ambassador of the Intergovernmental Organization UnASDG to Vietnam and CEO of BHG Berliner Handelsgesellschaft GmbH, a symbolic gift from the Ha Long Bay region. At the reception, Mr. Hans Joachim Radtke expressed his thanks for the warm welcome to Quang Ninh Province, impressed by the beautiful natural landscapes, especially Ha Long Bay - a World Heritage Site, a very friendly spirit and friendly people. Introducing the intergovernmental organization UnASDG, Mr. Hans Joachim Radtke confirmed that it is a non-profit organization that sustainably supports the government and partners in the areas of monitoring the implementation of sustainable development projects to increase sustainable investments in the areas of technology, planning, the environment, humanitarian aid, crises and disaster protection, and finance. In Quang Ninh, UnASDG will accompany and support the Thai An Holding Joint Stock Company, which is expected to organize a series of events such as the Art For Climate Festival HaLong, which is scheduled to take place in early 2025 with the participation of about 200 international billionaires. In addition to the 17 SDGs with 169 sub-targets, important topics include research into a range of investment areas such as education, fisheries logistics, clean energy projects, waste recycling, education and health. Mr. Hans Joachim Radtke hopes that Quang Ninh will create the conditions for UnASDG to explore investment opportunities and support both domestic and foreign companies operating in the province. Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, thanked the UNASDG and international investors for their trust and for choosing Quang Ninh to learn about and explore ideas for cooperation and development. He also confirmed that Quang Ninh is one of the most attractive investment locations for strategic investors, with nearly 200 investors from 20 countries currently doing business and developing stably in the province, with a total investment of nearly 16 billion USD. The province is also the only locality in the country that has a border with China both on land and at sea, the gateway that connects ASEAN countries with China and vice versa. Quang Ninh has synchronous infrastructure, an inter-regional connection, a highway system that links economic and cultural centers in the province. There is an international airport that receives large flights and private flights and there is an international port that welcomes luxury cruise ships from around the world. In the spirit of cooperation and absolute compliance with the law, Quang Ninh will create the most favorable conditions, provide public and utility services, and offer an open, convenient, equal, transparent environment for business investment in which investors can succeed and invest sustainably in the province. UNASDG and its affiliated currency authority USD Mint have already confirmed that they will provide initial start-up funding for the development of the region at the Art for Climate event in January and will oversee its implementation together with Thaian Holdings. The comrade suggested that the relevant departments and branches coordinate closely with UnASDG and Thai An Holding Joint Stock Company to prepare for the organization of the Art For Climate Festival HaLong. With the information that the festival will welcome about 200 international billionaires to the province, this is a very good opportunity for Quang Ninh to continue promoting and attracting investment. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate investment promotion programs, introduce and promote the image of a developed and attractive province in the festival event. Ambassador Radtke's actual task is to explore how the UNASDG can support Vietnam in achieving the SDGs. The UNASDG was happy to pledge its support for the ART OF CLIMATE FESTIVAL project in Quang Ninh province in Vietnam. The main focus here is on protecting the world heritage site of HALONG BAY and on repairing the severe storm damage caused by the cyclone that wreaked havoc in the province and unfortunately also claimed lives. We believe that the idea of THAI ANH HOLDINGS deserves every support, on the one hand to preserve the World Heritage Site and, in addition, that the projects are also geared towards achieving the SDGs. We look forward to working with Vietnam.

Africa, as a mineral-rich continent, has the potential to lead in technological development. However, this potential can only be fully realized through coordinated efforts in security reform, technological advancement, and the creation of robust infrastructure. He also noted that “ UnASDG IGO encourages foreign investment, recognizing its importance in building resilient economies. By protecting assets, ensuring transparency, and fostering a business environment that attracts global capital, African nations can secure job creation and sustainable growth .” South Sudan is leading the way in realizing this vision, which will enable the parties to embark on projects that will transform the lives of the people of South Sudan. In due course, the two parties will soon jointly develop a specific project agenda for South Sudan, as well as the necessary steps for a secured and sustainable financing process with UnASDG’s affiliated monetary authority “USD Mint”, in order to get off to a quick start. • The Kinshasa Process: Empowering Nations to implement the SDGs by 2030

While all 193 heads of state announced at the 2015 UN General Assembly to implement all 17 SDGs with their 169 targets by December 2030 at the latest, their budgetary realities seem to contradict this global promise to their people and the next generations. Senior leaders from UN Habitat, UNGSII and UnASDG met with high-level government and finance experts at the SDG Hub in Davos 2024 to help leaders deliver on their commitments: The 100 billion SDG Pledge Fund will be supported by an additional SDG Reserve Fund backed by the national wealth of several countries, sovereign wealth funds and private wealth, following the example of Japan and the United Arab Emirates from the 1970s, when Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai and Sharjah emerged on the back of Asian willingness to see wealth as an enabler for the future. The Kinshasa Process was first introduced at the UNECA conference in Kinshasa on November 15, reminding the world of what Japanese and UAE leadership had achieved for their people and how world leadership reflected these lessons with the Kimberly Process. At the SDG Lab 2024 in Davos, the purpose and strategy of the Kinshasa process were adapted and are now ready to make concrete offers to the first pilot countries. During the UN Habitat General Assembly in Nairobi in June 2023, its Executive Committee proposed to design and test 80 cities in 20 countries on how to certify their progress according to scientifically valid standards and have progress confirmed by accounting experts such as Deloitte to secure and increase financial investments for those that not only implement the SDGs but also based on transparent metrics required by the financial sector to accelerate. After the three years of the UN Habitats Cities Investment Facilitiy, where every city could upload their projects, only 8 out of 400 cities have managed to receive the requested funds. At the UN-Habitat General Assembly, the 34 member states of UN-Habitat, who form the Executive Board of UN-Habitat UNGSII, together with UnASDG, Deloitte and other expert teams such as Enspire, were given a mandate to show 20 countries how to accelerate robust access to finance for SDG implementation. Within this group of 20 countries, the Kinshasa Process partners have decided to support these pioneers, with 4 cities being certified with additional funding from the SDG Pledge and Reserve Fund. The SDG Pledge Fund managed by the UnASDG and the Kinshasa Process team is ready to provide access to unconditional funding to some pilot countries within the Group of 20 such as Greenland, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Suriname and Poland, to accelerate the implementation of the SDGs through iconic projects such as fighting poverty and hunger by enabling logistics experts from the United Arab Emirates, for example, to bring millions of unused high-quality water and land resources from Greenland to the GCC countries, Africa and Asia. Building SDG Youth Cities, alleviating the suffering of the growing number of more than 100 million migrants from around the world, accelerating access to smart solutions to energy and waste challenges, etc. The SDG Pledge Fund is initially endowed with 100 billion US dollars, which can be topped up by the SDG Reserve Fund. The unconditional funds will be secured through previously unused certified assets in the selected pilot countries as well as through associated sovereign wealth funds and a network of private supporters. Framework for operations There are investable funds such as Masterfund 100B. From this, countries such as Sri Lanka, Greenland, Nigeria and Vietnam are offered to create a common value base that always starts from the assets that already exist in each country such as state-owned enterprises, minerals, etc. These are assessed together with the Kinshasa Process expert team and aligned with the current needs of the country to a) reduce or even eliminate the threat of debt services and b) empower not only the leadership of the respective country but also its citizens to develop in line with the SDGs. UnASDG has created a multifaceted offer that goes as far as providing an unconditional basic income of 40 dollars per week for every citizen who either plants trees (and gets the carbon credits pre-funded) or smart solutions for plastic or civic engagement in sports clubs, etc. At COP28 in the United Arab Emirates, the global community pledged additional funding for countries that want to accelerate the implementation of SDG13. The second fund will secure the Pledge Fund that has been pledged to the country and is there, e.g. 10 billion - so we can co-invest with the national Souveran Wealth Fund. (Senegal has a good one with high professionals, Tsibuti too, but the lady is the President's daughter (Dr. Fahmi), Cape Verde, Angola (the current President's son has the system L-Pay Link Pay through the UAE, the purpose of the reserve fund is to support projects in the country to support the local central bank. (to improve the balance sheet: to be robust and transparent) Here is a first direct link to the Kinshasa process, as the reserve fund can be backed by national assets such as gold, lithium, etc. As the was founded during the SDG Lab in Davos 2024, the partner countries receive the know-how and commitment of all six partners.
