The SDGs were defined by the United Nations in 2015 and include 17 objectives such as « no poverty », « no hunger », « clean water », « clean energy », « gender equality », « quality education », etc. The State of the African Diaspora is very involved in the SDGs, especially through its program to provide agribusiness and to create 25 smart cities in Africa and in the Diaspora, and is working with the UNASDG to raise financing for these initiatives. These goals are very important for all the smart cities we are building in Africa and in the Diaspora. Together, we will seek for investors for our programs and work on how we can share experiences and exchange of innovative knowledge. »

Mr Patrick Meyer, President and Founder of the UNASDG, declared : « "It is my great honor to take such an important step of collaboration with the African State of Diaspora and to collectively take on this trustworthy challenge. Working closely together and with a determined like-minded team, we will be able to take a big step towards success and achieving the sustainable development goals on the African continent." »
