Senegal’s investment promotion and grand projects agency, APIX, will organize on July 6-8 the country’s first “Invest in Senegal” Forum seeking the development of local and regional markets.
APIX in a statement argues that the event is meant to draw benefits of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and promote investment opportunities in Senegal and Africa.
The event will gather around 3,000 delegates among whom State officials, investors, economic leaders, asset owners from the continent and the rest of the world, SME managers, regional and international organizations, as well as technical and financial partners.
The Agency through the Forum also seeks to encourage B2B meetings between investors, the Government and private-sector companies taking part in the Forum, increase public-private partnerships and joint ventures, promote SMEs and mobilize financing for regional integration projects.
The town of Diamniadio, about 30 kilometers from Dakar city center, will host the event. The town is currently being developed to become a new city dubbed “Diamniadio Urban Pole”.
