Kisumu County Cabinet and UNASDG prepare collaboration framework in Kisumu County

Ambassador Hon. Geoffrey Oguna met the Kisumu County Cabinet, headed by the County Governor Prof. Anyang Nyong'o in Kisumu County.
UNASDG and Kisumu County intend to collaborate to jointly support the Sustainable Development Goals through various programs.
The Cabinet members of Kisumu County discussing with Ambassador Oguna all terms and requirements to start the long-term collaboration with UNASDG to introduce the experts of the UNASDG Council of Experts and the fundings through UNASDGs affiliated investment facilities to Kisumu County and further ones in Kenya.
The first common programme could be the Kisumu County Greening Programme to be launched in October 2023.
