    UNASDG honors Ross Sheldon for his willingness to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. He was nominated by the Senate, represented by President Pat Meyer, as an Honorary Senator. Mr. Sheldon specializes in arranging exceptional strategic alliances and as such is a great support to UNASDG and the actions needed.   • Puntland State Government prepares next steps with UNASDG to run the SDG programmes

    The Puntland State Government held another meeting with the UNASDG Ambassador, Hon. Debay Million, to prepare the next steps to lay the groundwork that will allow UNASDG to start its work on the ground. It was a very constructive meeting and we are very happy about the confidence shown towards UNASDG. Participants of the meeting were 1. Honorable Hamid Osmael, Member of Parliament, Ambassador Debay, UNASDG East Africa, Vice President, H. E. Ahmed Elmi Osman, General Mohammed Ali, Mr Mohammed, Commercial advisor to Government of Puntland. Special Ambassador Hon. Debay Million also met with Deputy Director Yosuf of the State Bank of Puntland to coordinate important details for secure payment channels.

  • UNASDG and Kenya's Kisumu County launched officially the Kisumu Greening Programme.

    The county Government of Kisumu in Kenya, in collaboration with the UNASDG IGO, launched after signing the collaboration treaty, officially the Kisumu Greening programme. The Kisumu City Manager Hon. Abala Wanga and Ambassador Hon. Geoffrey OGUNA and Waziri Hongo planted trees at the Kisumu sports ground, after signing the Treaty with the County to build their working relations towards achieving the SDGs. The programme is an afforestation programme under the UNASDG Carbon credit/offset programme. This initiative is meant to plant 3 million trees in the first mile stone and will be conducted every 10th day of every month. After the agreed basics are established, the programme will be publicly available. It is expected to start with further indidual programs in Kisumu County in 2023.

    UNASDG nominated Hon. Mr. Idrissa Doucoure from Senegal with immediate effect as Special Ambassador for National Affairs in Senegal. We are looking forward to a long-term and fruitful business relationship with Ambassador Mr. Doucoure and we are glad to have im in the team of UNASDG.

  • Kenya's Kisumu County recognizes UNASDG and signs to jointly achieve the SDGs.

    Today UNASDG Ambassador Hon. Geoffrey OGUNA signed a treaty with Kenya's Kisumu County Governor Anyong Nyong'o on behalf of President Senator Pat Meyer. After extensive preparations by all involved parties in the last weeks, the Treaty was signed to begin the collaboration between UNASDG and the County Government of Kisumu, to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. Kisumu will submit a comprehensive list of planned SDG projects and programs to UNASDG to discuss necessary implementation measures and prepare related funding through the UNASDG Investment Facility. Kisumu's next steps are to establish the agreed upon requirements while UNASDG is already preparing all necessary members of the Council of Experts. The international experts will work together with Kisumu to develop suitable solutions for individual implementation and to examine the possibilities for using the latest innovative technologies in the region. A first cornerstone of the collaboration will be the planting of 500 seedlings. This will be the first step for the planned reforestation program under the UNASDG carbon credit and offset management program.

  • Kisumu County Cabinet and UNASDG prepare collaboration framework in Kisumu County

    Ambassador Hon. Geoffrey Oguna met the Kisumu County Cabinet, headed by the County Governor Prof. Anyang Nyong'o in Kisumu County. UNASDG and Kisumu County intend to collaborate to jointly support the Sustainable Development Goals through various programs. The Cabinet members of Kisumu County discussing with Ambassador Oguna all terms and requirements to start the long-term collaboration with UNASDG to introduce the experts of the UNASDG Council of Experts and the fundings through UNASDGs affiliated investment facilities to Kisumu County and further ones in Kenya. The first common programme could be the Kisumu County Greening Programme to be launched in October 2023.

    Research and Production of an electrical system for saving energy and optimizing the quality of produced electrical energy. The system must save up to 40% of electrical energy and must deliver a clean sinusoidal current. There should be used already existing standard elements only. Since use of this technology worldwide, many qualified jobs will be created worldwide.
